🎬 Chinese Zodiac (2012) – 《十二生肖》
An Action‑Adventure About Lost Treasures & Cultural Identity

📖 The Story

JC (Jackie Chan) is a world-renowned treasure hunter and the leader of an international heist team. He is hired by the ruthless MP Corporation to steal two bronze heads of the Chinese Zodiac that are about to be auctioned. The twelve bronze animal heads were originally part of a magnificent water clock fountain at the Old Summer Palace in Beijing, but they were looted by British and French troops during the Second Opium War in 1860. For over a century, the heads have been scattered across the globe, appearing in auctions and private collections.

As JC travels from France to the South Seas, he meets Coco, a passionate Chinese student dedicated to repatriating lost cultural relics. Through her, JC begins to question his role in the illegal relic trade. The mission becomes more than just a job — it becomes a journey of redemption, as JC decides to return all the bronze heads to China, risking his life and betraying his employers to restore his country's stolen heritage.
